Meet The Tennis Pros

Name: Kevin Quay Title:Director of Tennis Email:  tennis@idsycc.com Kevin graduated from the University of Pittsburg with a B.S. in Psychology. He was Captain of the tennis team for three years and received MVP honors his senior year. A member of the USPTA with a P-1 rating, Kevin has been teaching for over 30 years. He was the Junior Coach of the Year for the Florida Tennis Association in 1999. He was one of the first 100 coaches in the United States to become a USTA High Performance Coach. Currently, he is the Head Boys and Girls Tennis Coach at Canterbury School of Florida. He has been at Isla since 2000.

Name: Charles Melin Title:Tennis Pro Email:  tennis@idsycc.com Charles is a USPTR Certified Teaching Pro who is employed by the City of St. Petersburg at Fossil Park. Charles is a Certified Instructor by the USTA in the 10 and Under Quickstart Program. He is currently the Junior Varsity Coach at Canterbury school. He has been at Isla Del Sol since June 2011.
